Galaxy and Open Cluster In Cepheus
A nice pair of objects lies in the northern summer sky where we find the face on galaxy Ngc6946 and the open cluster Ngc6939. This 1 degree area of the sky is shown with north to the bottom of the picture. Faint dust of our galaxy can be seen in the lower half of this picture and a dim and distant galaxy can also be seen about mid-height and 1/5 in from the left of the picture.
