M33 Triangulum Galaxy
A few degrees to the west of the faint constellation of Triangulum lies the large and relatively bright Triangulum Galaxy or M33 in the Messier list of objects. M33 is tilted at such an angle as to present it's many arms for a wonderful view from Earth. This image shows about one square degree of the sky. M33 can be seen as a very faint small smudge of light from very dark sites.
