The Cygnus Satr Nebulous Area
A complex and rich nebulous area surrounds the star Satr in the constellation of Cygnus. Here we see a 5.3 x 4 degree area of the IC1318 nebula with north to the left and Satr near the middle. The Crescent Nebula, Ngc6888, is also shown in the upper right of this frame. This striking and complex black and white shot of this area is revealed by 1 hour of total exposure time highlighting the Hydrogen Alpha emissions from the nebula.
