The Crescent Nebula shown in the upper right is an ornate bright nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus. All through this area is a sea of faint, wispy nebulosity with the rich backdrop of countless colorful stars of our milky way. This picture shows a 1.5 degree area of the night sky with north to the bottom of the picture. The Red nebula is from Hydrogen excitation and the green is from glowing oxygen.
