Wolf-Rayet Shell W-R 134 to Dark Nebula B145

Wolf-Rayet Shell W-R 134 to Dark Nebula B145

In the very busy constellation of Cygnus about 2.5 degrees south of the famous Crescent Nebula lies the Wolf-Rayet nebulae designated as W-R 134 and shown in the upper left of this picture. W-R 134 was caused by a special type of star called a Wolf-Rayet star. Also in this cloudy area of Cygnus we see the long straight dark nebula of B145 in the upper right. Interesting wisps of nebula are seen throughout this area.
